We are a non-profit association committed to the welfare of children in vulnerable situations in the peri-urban areas of the city of Cobán, Guatemala, specifically in the neighborhoods Esfuerzo 1, Esfuerzo 2, Nueva Esperanza and Sachamach.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to children and young people who face significant risks due to precarious working conditions, such as child exploitation in the municipal dump, as well as extreme poverty and family disintegration.
We work hard to provide them with a safe environment conducive to their physical, emotional and educational development. Through programs and activities designed especially for their needs, we seek to provide them with the tools to build a more hopeful and promising future. Our work focuses on empowering these children and young people, providing them with the skills and resources that will enable them to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.
Our primary objective as an association is to provide a comprehensive education that encompasses various dimensions of life for each of our beneficiaries. We strive to ensure that they have a solid human, cultural and spiritual foundation through enriching experiences that foster meaningful learning. We seek not only to nurture their minds with academic knowledge, but also to cultivate their values, social skills and spiritual connections, thus creating an educational environment that contributes to the integral development of each individual.
We are a private non-profit institution that supports socially vulnerable population in the peri-urban areas of the city of Cobán, Guatemala.
